Executive Director

Mai Rihani-Meserlian

Mai’s journey into early childhood education was sparked by her own parenting experiences and a transformative search for a preschool for her daughter. This journey, coupled with extensive coursework in early childhood education and philosophies, shaped her holistic approach to education. Mai is dedicated to promote creativity, hands-on learning, and child-appropriate practices. At Child's World Preschool, we encourage children to explore, share their stories, and develop a deep love for learning. She believes in the incredible capabilities of children, the importance of integrating nature into education, and fostering a strong, inclusive community within our school.

Director of operations

Kelly Elsenheimer

Kelly has known since she was in 4th grade that she wanted to be a teacher.  She started working at a Christian Elementary School summer day camp right after she graduated from High School.  She knew right then, that was her calling.  She taught our TK class here at Child’s World Preschool for 8 years, before making the move into Administration in 2016.   

She is a mother of 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls and has 2 grandchildren.  Kelly and her husband love traveling and enjoy spending time on their boat in the summer.  

TEACHERS

Our teachers are the backbone of our program.  Our staff have multiple years of education and experience in Early Childhood Education and continue to grow in knowledge through continuing educational and professional development opportunities.  Teachers meet on weekly basis to continually improve our program.  Teachers are trained to assess their students and provide both goal oriented and developmental assessment conferences with parents 3 times a year.
